XTWOD Smart Jackie

This little sorrel bombshell is by our Badger stud (Watch Jo Jack/Driftwood) and out of a Smart Chic Olena/Dry Doc/Boon Bar mare. She's as pretty as they come and was born packing a ton of muscle and picture perfect conformation.

Sire is a winner in the Ranch Horse Versatility Open Classes and is a son of the good rodeo horse Red Mark Blanton, and out of a daughter of the great Blue Light Ike(AQHA world show top 10 and PRCA money earner). Dam is own daughter of the super cutting horse Dual Jazz(LTE over 60,000 NCHA) by the geat Dual Pep, and out of an own daughter of Doc's Hickory.This beautiful bay colt has some of the greatest rodeo/show rope horses and cutting horses right on his papers! He should be fast enough to catch em', atheletic enough to cut em', big enough to rope em' and pretty enough to show em'! CURRENTLY IN TRAINING PROGRAM AT LCCC, Cheyenne.

EBONY

Black as a spade and beautiful! She is the picture of speed, cow and performance and that blood runs deep through this stout mare! Bred to Espuela Tonto for 2011.

WINDY

Her sire is a son of the great Smart Little Lena, and is an AQHA point and NCHA money earner. This mare also has Freckles Playboy, Dry Doc and San Peppy Luis on her papers. She is a pretty mover and very cowy. Bred to Bar N Dunit In Suede for 2011.

DOC

Talk about an old warrior. At 23 years old, Doc has been there done that. He does parades, shows, English, mountain work, drives cows, heads and heels, and runs ALL gymkhana events. A really, really rare all-around find. He is an outstanding addition to our lesson program and is the first to get the call when it's time to teach a kid to run barrels. He'll walk the gate, win the run, and walk back out and wait to go again. Super light handle and plenty of whoa and only goes the speed asked for, but has kept his speed. This year, he took our cousin, new to speed events, all the way to 4th in the standings after only 3 shows. Next year, he'll start teaching our kids as they are ready for the step up.

DINA

At 26 years young, Dina doesn't look a day over about 15 and doesn't move like it either. She'll still cut a cow and has plenty of quickness left. But, in semi-retirement, she has made a fabulous addition to our lesson program as she also does well in the rail events--something we're finding to be true in the retired cutting horses. Dina has just enough "spark" to work well for the more intermediate students and like Mae, teaches what a horse SHOULD ride like with that super light feel, way of moving, and no reins stop.

XTWOD Special Annie

This bay powerhouse filly carries legendary Haythorn Ranch blood from our Jenny mare and is by our Badger stud (Watch Jo Jack/Driftwood). Most notable about Annie right away was her elegant long-legged look and sheer power and quickness. Here is one big, stout, long legged, buckskin filly. She's by the great Peppys Boy 895 (LTE in cutting over $100 K, sire of Hall of Fame mare Shania Cee) who not only cuts but ranches and ropes and is big boned and durable. Bunny is out of our big Jeye mare (15.3 hands, 1300 lbs) who is stacked with PRCA rope horses including Lucky Blanton and the great Frostys Tops. This filly should make a heading, ranch or all around horse deluxe with a ton of size/bone, cow and color. It's another gorgeous buckskin! We are rolling on color this year! This filly has a big star and lots of chrome to set her off and a ton of eye appeal. Lots of size and lots of angle, too. She's by the great Peppys Boy 895 (LTE over $100K in cutting, plus roping/ranching) and out of our Windy mare who has Smart Little Lena, Freckles Playboy, Dry Doc and San Peppy Luis close on the papers. XTWOD Charlies Angel (pending)

Here's our first supermodel of 2010 by our stud Badger, and out of our Wings mare. "Charlie" is the coveted roping/barrel racing pro rodeo NFR cross...Zan Parr Bar, Two Eyed Jack and Driftwood...all in a beautiful package. Super short back and huge powerful hip on this filly...and she's as quick as she looks.

Probably one of the only babies to have Zan Parr Bar and Two Eyed Jack still on her papers. Elegant, eye-catching and balanced from the day she was born. Out of our Ebony mare, by our Two Bartender Rick stud.

Driftin Jack Blanton (pending). Drifter is one big blue or bay roan (too early to tell) colt, the only boy of the bunch this year! MONTANAS LENA LYNX

We're excited to welcome Bailey's new gelding, and lesson horse deluxe..."Montana." You don't find more royal paperwork on one with Doc O Lena, Smart Little Lena, Sugar Bars, Doc Bar and Docs Lynx ON HIS PAPERS! Montana is a semi-retired reiner who also trail rides, shows almost all events, and of course works cows. We are super excited about what he's teaching Bailey and for the asset he will be to the lesson program starting 2010!

JET

This stud colt was born on Easter night with muscles coming out his ears. He will shed either red roan or gray, and is run/cow bred on the top, and royally reining/cutting/cow bred on the bottom. Should be a pro caliber rope horse, and should ranch and run as well. Great disposition, short back, super quick, and does everything off his hind end by nature. Out of Dolly and by Spur. CURRENTLY IN COLT TRAINING PROGRAM AT Laramie County Community College (LCCC), Cheyenne.

SPARKLE

Classy gray filly bred to slide, rope or run. Super mover, elegant look, and COWY. Has both Diamonds Sparkle and Colonel Freckles on her papers.

REATA

Been used on the ranch and in the arena. She has a ton of cow, speed and stop--just like she's bred.

DIAMOND

Beautiful red roan filly with super pedigree. Should make it as a reiner, roper, or working cowhorse.

DIESEL

Bred to show, but born to RUN. This colt is just getting started, and is scary fast and unbelievably athletic.

He is currently in training as a barrel futurity prospect with Teri Kinney with Star Amazing Grace Performance Horses

ZAN

Super performance and rope horse bred dun colt. Nearly 2000 AQHA points right on his papers. Will be started this summer.

FRIENDLY

Super nice royally cutting bred 7 year old mare. Very broke, very quiet. Has limited hauling, and has been exposed to cattle, barrels, poles, cutting/sorting, low jumps and has even shown English and won the third English pleasure class she was ever entered in. Limited hauling, just needs a finish in the event of your choice. Currently in heel horse/X2D program training with Dave. Also awesome broodmare prospect; legends stacked on her paperwork. Double bred Jae Bar Milo (Docs Jack Sprat) with a little speed breeding (Triple Chick) thrown in. Clips, bathes, round pens, etc. Quiet enough to make awesome youth horse as well when seasoned. CHALK

This big blue gelding has been on the ranch and in the wilderness. He knows what a hard day's work is and can go all day. Started in the arena. Bred to ranch on top and run on the bottom.

WILY

This young gelding is bred to rope, cut and run. He has been used on pack trips into the wilderness and on the ranch. Top rope horse prospect.

POKER

This young bay gelding is big enough to head on, but bred to cut. Mr. Gunsmoke and Docs Zimfandel and Poker Stampede right on his papers. A good prospect but just getting started.

CHOPPER

This gelding is bred to cut on the top and run on the bottom. Used on the ranch and in the arena. Well started heel horse.

ROCKY

Rocky is an own grandson of the great Rapid Bar and by our original stud horse, "Macho". This 1,400 pound gelding is elegant and fast. We bred, named and raised him to rope, but he doesn't particularly like it. He likes ranch work, trails, pack trips, basic dressage, and now he's Codi's summer project. They are taking Carol Ellis' beginning barrel racing clinic together.

WILLIS

11 year old AQHA Blue Roan Stallion. Finished heel horse that will fit any roper. Easy to get along with and not 'studdy' acting.

JENNY

Big, stout and handsome! This mare was born on the famous Haythorn Ranch and crosses that famous blood on that of the famous 6666's blood! Bred to Espuela Tonto for 2011.

A big beautiful mare that any cowboy would be proud to ride! She is what you would want to breed for! 15.2 hands and 1250 pounds, and the bone and foot to support it! Bred to Espuela Tonto for 2011.

MAGIC

Her pedigree is full of legends in cutting, performance and racing--including Mr. Gun Smoke and The Ole Man. A gorgeous mare that should halter and ride, at 15.3 hands and about 1,300 pounds.

PINEY PEPABOON

Piney Pepaboon (pending). Born with mile long legs, Piney looked tall as a pine tree, so we named her after her mama as well--Pine Star Priss. A big filly with lots of bone, great conformation with lots of slope everywhere, and full of white hairs everywhere, so an old fashioned red or strawberry roan is our guess. She's out of our black Priss mare and by Pep N Peek. Currently in training at Star Amazing Grace Quarter Horses. Currently has 45 days under saddle and counting! Outstanding reining or roping prospect!

Watch Piney's sire, Pep N Peek, with trainer Dan Roeser. Pep N Peek tied for the Limited Open High Score of 213 at the 2008 NRCHA Stakes!
